I was walking around my neighborhood and saw a bunch of police surrounding a small house for a drug bust. As I got closer, I heard the policemen barking aggressively, so naturally I was like, wtf??? And one of them caught my eye and said, “Oh, we’re trying to scare them out of there,” and minutes later a bunch of furries came out the house whimpering and shit.

what i had: four for $4 burger and lemonade.
what i thought: this is the same as mcdonalds but there is a smiling girl! the guy who invented wendys was called somethng else so who is wendy. Food apparaition?
rating: 3/5. food was boring but mysterious girl warmed my heart

what i had: hot dog and shake
what i thought: holy shit. also milkshakes in america are like, solid ice cream. i was expecting nesquik

what i had: burrito. do they make other things?
what i thought: the logo is a chilli pepper but there werent actually any chilli peppers you could have in the food? i enjoyed the dainty red basket
rating: 3/5. guess burritos just always taste good, no matter what theyre made of. i think the chipotle burritos were made using some kind of food product but im not sure.
sonic drive thru
what i had: loaded chilli cheese dog’ fourht of july baby!! happy star wars day
what i thought: very inconceivable. there is a sit in a drive in and a drive thru and the sonic drive thru person comes over to your car in roller skates. its a made up cartoon store. it doesnt exist
rating: 5/5. we spent 20 minutes googling if you tip at sonic and in the end we drove off so my guilt prevents me from assessing it poorly
taco bell
what i had: it only sells tacos in like threes so i got three tacos.
what i thought: its like a dorito with a leaf stapled to it. why is it called taco bell? also, who am i, inside?
rating: 4/5. i flung six tacos in the microwave when we got back and i enjoyed watching them roll over each other playfully – made me think of my childhood and the political conspiracy around my birth.

what i had: chicken nuggets at 2am
what i thought: it was interesting that about half of the items on the interactive menu ended with a ‘z’ rather than an s. while that was fun – i would not go so far as to say i died at sheetz but i certainly did not leave it in one piece due to the colossal spinning death blade embedded into the milkshake machine
rating: 5/5. ordering entirely through a little touchpad is a natural progression in a society of unwholesome, evil food production and distribution

She was about done with Chat’s shenanigans.
They’d defeated the akuma with ease, which had left them with plenty of time for interviews afterward. It was late afternoon, and so Ladybug wasn’t worrying about school or missing anything important. With her partner at her side, she sat at the base of the Eiffel Tower, a microphone in her hand as they worked together in answering the questions thrown their way. It’d already been near twenty minutes, however, and she was growing tired of the talking. Especially with the direction the questions had gone in.
“So you two have been working together a while now,” the reporter had asked. “Would you consider yourselves close?”
“Of course,” Chat had replied, grinning wide as he’d turned to her. “Close as could be.”
An answer that had visibly displeased her.
“Just how close are you both?” was the next question.
And so she knew the situation could only get worse if she didn’t cut in.
“We’re partners,” she explained, holding the mic up as she did. “We’re as close as that kind of professional relationship allows.”
“Yeowch,” Chat said following. “You cut me deep, My Lady.”
“You’re the one implying more than there is,” she said straight, not trying to keep her voice discreet at all.
“Well, you know there’s more to us than that,” he tried to correct.
“Is that true?” a reporter cut in before Ladybug could comment further. “Are you two more than just partners?”

I’M OUT OF CONTROL! No, seriously, this is it. I’m done now. I always wanted to write a kiss reveal and so I thought this was a good opportunity. So yeah, REVEAL FIC! Part two to the fic above (AND TO THE AMAZING ART!). @i-wadako Look, I couldn’t help myself. But now I’ll sit in a corner and write SF like I should have been in the first place. I regret nothing.
She was a little surprised at her own calm. But, then again, maybe she shouldn’t have expected it’d be much of a shock anyway.
Chat was her trusted partner, had saved her life countless times. And though he was cheesy with his puns and was an over-the-top flirt, he’d never pushed boundaries or adhered to the bad-boy stereotype his uniform wanted to put off. He’s always been a perfect gentleman, sweet when he wanted to be, and ready to be there whenever she needed him.
It wasn’t until she’d kissed him—really kissed him—and registered how much she’d wanted to, that she’d realized just how badly she’d been taking him for granted.
She’d always kept her distance—assumed he was an uncontrollable flirt—but he’d been nothing if not considerate when they’d kissed the night before. And though things had quickly grown quite heated between them, he’d stopped as soon as she had. He hadn’t pushed, hadn’t pestered.
It’d been… nice.
Too nice, maybe.
Just thinking about it brought a small smile to Marinette’s face. Closing her locker, she slung her bag over her shoulders as she turned to head out, unable to keep her cheeks from flushing the slightest bit pink as her thoughts continued to be distracted with Chat.
Maybe, deep down, she’d always known she’d liked him. It wasn’t that her preoccupation with Adrien had somehow hidden the fact, but she’d always been so forcefully focused on her classmate that she’d hardly considered Chat an option. And somehow, in-between all of that, her heart had fallen for him whether she’d wanted it to or not.
