ask-agent24:

HEY! Not entirely back (Maybe for a minute before I get busy again) but Ive been thinking about the agents and  have a lot of plans ehe

So here’s a real introduction.

Agent 8 has lost her memory of everything prior to waking up in the subway and the melody of calimari inkantation. Since coming to the surface Agent 3 has been tasked with taking care of her; protecting her, and keeping an eye on her, that’s been her only mission for the past few months and…she’s not too happy about it.

Admittedly though, she’s been getting a bit attached to the odd octoling.

I’ll have a few more introductions soon.

Greetings from the Squid Research Lab! We’ve just received word that the next Splatfest has been announced! The question this time is which utensil do you think is more useful? Do you stick to your points with a fork? Or do you get the scoop with a spoon? Both utensils have their pros and cons, so please chews carefully! (And sorry…“spork” is not an option.) Pick your preferred utensil and charge into splattle starting 8/24 at 9pm PT!

And as a reminder, the Nintendo Switch Online service will be launching in the second half of September. Please note that Nintendo Switch owners won’t automatically become members when the service starts, so you’ll will need to purchase an individual or family membership in order to avoid disruption of your online play in compatible games. To make sure you don’t miss a minute of online play (including Splatfests!), please visit https://www.nintendo.com/switch/online-service for more info. Terms apply.

Here’s a better idea:

Which Region-Locked Gear set pisses you off more because your geographical location disqualifies you from attaining it despite buying the exact same game as those who have it? 🦑

The Emperor Gear was released on December 15 of •last year• while the SpyGear was released on the 10th of this August, with NEITHER set as yet planned to release in the West. Same goes with the My Nintendo Rewards JP-exclusive gear:

So uh….you guys gonna stop punishing your customers over here or what…? Especially since you wanna start charging to play online next month…

While I can’t say much about the My Nintendo gear, yall need to remember that the characters in the manga belong to corocoro — or sorta. It’s a collab, I don’t know how to explain it so if someone else can explain it better please do. But basically: Nintendo literally cannot release this gear outside of Japan because Corocoro is a japanese exclusive magazine.

The manga is still being translated, so the gear will probably come with it when the time comes for those issues that include the gear come to the US. I get it, people are upset, but there is nothing Nintendo can do because of legal reasons. You just have to be patient.
